Founded in 1995 by five family members triggered by an innovative idea by Stan Barenberg in Hedville, Kansas
Longneck Ranch has grown over the past 30 years into a premier business intent on raising high-quality live ostrich, including eggs and meat.
In 2015 the ranch relocated to Rose Hill, Kansas in order to expand on 20+ acres to breed, hatch and raise more fantastic ostriches! Today we proudly care for 10 trios in a sustainable and environmentally friendly atmosphere. Longneck Ranch uses 100% organic feed with zero antibiotics.
Over the years, Longneck Ranch has provided multiple zoos and wildlife refuges with healthy, happy birds! We take pride in our reputation of quality products, high standards and ethical ranching.

Full Eggs
$25-$35 plus shipping cost
Each ostrich egg provides between 3 and 5 lbs of nutrition, making it a unique and fun option for cooking. Fresh from our ranch, these eggs are perfect for specialty dishes or family gatherings. Generally, these are offered in early Spring and late Autumn.

Empty Shells
$10 to $15 plus shipping cost
When empty, ostrich eggshells are perfect for crafts, decorative inspiration, or collectors! Their durable, smooth surface makes them ideal for painting, carving, or unique home decor! These are also offered in early Spring and late Autumn.
